Dr. Zahra Sattaur is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist (CA License #PSY33700) with advanced training in the evaluation of brain-behavior relationships across medical, neurological, and psychological conditions. She specializes in comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for adults and older adults, including individuals coping with concussion, traumatic brain injury, memory problems, cognitive changes, and emotional concerns.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sattaur has experience providing forensic neuropsychological evaluations in the context of personal injury, workers’ compensation, and disability claims, offering clear, well-supported opinions for legal and administrative settings.
Dr. Sattaur completed her doctorate in clinical psychology with a neuropsychology concentration at Nova Southeastern University and a two-year neuropsychology fellowship through the VA Northern California Healthcare System. Her background includes training through UC Davis Neurology and work in hospital, rehabilitation, and private settings. She has also experience teaching about neuropsychology at UC Berkeley Extension and serves as a central rater for clinical trials in dementia research.
